Order Terms and Refund Policy

 

 

* Your initial deposit of 50% reserves your event date and is non-refundable.  Your deposit can only be transferred to a different date upon approval.

* We must receive the 50% remaining balance no later than the 7th day prior to pickup/delivery.  Failure to comply with due dates listed on the invoice or contract results in immediate order termination and complete deposit forfeiture.

* All deposits shall be received no later than 5:00 p.m. EST

​

* No changes or additions may be added to your order after the final payment is submitted. 

​

* We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete.  You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s).  Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, appropriate cake stand size and optimal room temperature of 73 degrees or below.

 

* If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Couture Cakes & Co. headquarters

 

* On occasion, Couture Cakes & Co. will photograph our cakes, and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you or permission from you.

 

*  Couture Cakes & Co. products may contain or come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens.  You agree to notify your guests of this risk and not hold Couture Cakes & Co. responsible for allergic reactions.

 

* Local delivery and set up is $50.  Delivery in some cases is optional outside of our operating city.  We can deliver and set up for a fee of $0.75 per mile round trip plus a $35 set up fee.  It is your responsibility to ensure that the event location is open and available for set up at the appointed time.  Should any employee of Couture Cakes & Co. have to wait at the site for the event location to be opened, you will be billed for the time at a rate of $25 per 15 minutes, which must be paid before the setup of your cake.
